Isle of Raasay Distillery
The first legal distillery on the Isle of Raasay in northwest Scotland began distilling in September 2017. It is their vision to create the finest Hebridean single malt Scotch whisky. It is a unique destination with arguably the best view from any distillery in Scotland.

Raasay House
After your lunch onboard the Seaflower why not call up to Raasay house? This beautiful historical building has so much to offer. Whether relaxing and enjoying the views or taking part in one of the many activities they offer, there is something for everyone. Raasay house offer activities such as bicycle hire, sea kayaking and archery. As well as bus tours up to the historical sites on Rona like Calums Road, Rainey’s wall and Brochal Castle. Salar Smokehouse
The salmon which we serve on board is from Salar Smokehouse on stunning South Uist. This small business opened in 1997 and currently employs a team of 6 dedicated and highly skilled local people.
The award winning Flaky Smoked Salmon has won numerous awards such as New Business of the year at the 2017 Highlands and Islands food and drink awards. The high quality of the product is testament to the dedication and skill of the team.
Isle of Rona
As well as doing our regular day trips, Seaflower Skye is delighted to be the official Isle of Rona ferry. This breathtaking, remote island has only 2 permanent residents. Bill Cowie and his wife Lorraine live there year round. They take care of the island’s abundant wild life and manage the 3 unique holiday cottages over there. These holiday cottages are available for weekly Saturday to Saturday stays. Why not book a holiday to remember and experience the best of what Western Scotland has to offer. With its many walking tracks and old settlement ruins from centuries past, it truly is a hidden gem.
