Hello everyone!
We felt it was high time we started to blog about the daily going’s on of Seaflower Skye and our boat trips. With it being our first season, we had a lot to get our heads around and luckily we have been busy with trips, so all of this prevented us from getting into this blogging business properly. But finally here we are! As our first post is coming late in the season I am just going to put up pictures of some of our highlights thus far. Expect regular updates from now on though.
If you like what you see get in touch and come out on a trip, you might even see yourself feature on this blog!

Our Guests
We have had so many wonderful people out with us over the past couple of months. We can’t thank all of our guests enough for coming out and supporting us during our first season. We think Isle of Skye and it’s surrounding islands and coastline are up there among some of the most special places in the world. We love bringing people out on the water and showing them our favorite spots. Below are a few pictures of just some of the fabulous people we have had out with us.

The Love Boat
Seaflower has been host to many a romantic event during its short time in operation. I have to say, these have been some of our very favorite trips. Who doesn’t love a bit of romance?! Being able to help couples out and share in some of the most important moments in their lives is the absolute best! We have had some planned and some surprise moments on our boat trips and we have loved them all. It’s surprising how caught up in the moment you get, even if you don’t know the people involved personally. Love certainly is grand!

Summer of sunsets
We have been blessed with some amazing weather this summer. Everyone keeps telling us how lucky we are to have had it for our first season. We can’t agree more, it has made for some perfecting cruising conditions and provided stunning sunsets to really enhance the breathtaking scenery that we pass on our trips.

Our wildlife encounters
We are sorely aware that it is impossible to guarantee wildlife on trips, but we have been in the right place at the right time on so many occasions this summer. It just never gets old getting up close and personal with wildlife. I usually end up squealing with delight, louder than our guests more often than not!
What we generally tell our guests is that we can’t guarantee whales or dolphins, but we can guarantee the freshest, locally caught seafood and cold, crisp wine…….. and plenty of it! Anything else is a bonus, but 99% of the time we will see a porpoise and the seals are pretty reliable as well! During the times we did have wildlife encounters, I was always ready with the camera to capture it!

Stay tuned
I could continue to write about the different experiences we’ve had this summer because it has been such a pleasure going out with new people every single day. No two days have been the same, that’s why we love doing it so much. We don’t have a definitive end to our season I we will continue to run as long as the weather is suitable and we have people who would like to have a fun day out on the water, enjoying a bit of luxury along the way!
I’ll be updating regularly from now on so keep an eye on the blog to see what we’ve been up to!
